TRADEMARKS

Our IP attorneys provide a full range of trademark protection services including the preparation, filing and prosecution of state, federal and foreign applications for trademark registration, as well as opposing applications for conflicting marks of others. Our attorneys are experienced in handling inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In addition, our attorneys assist in determining the availability and clearance for use and registrability of proposed new marks. They also manage our firm's watch services program to which our clients can subscribe in order to be alerted to similar marks sought by others and take steps to prevent improper usage by third parties. Our Intellectual Property attorneys work closely with our litigation department in both prosecuting and defending patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, unfair competition and false advertising claims.

MULTIMEDIA, COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER LAW

The Firm's IP attorneys are experienced in protecting computer software programs and other works of authorship under federal and international copyright law. This generally includes the preparation of software development, license, and maintenance agreements, as well as the protection of computer programs using the patent laws. Our attorneys represent clients with ongoing businesses, as well as new ventures, in the purchase and sale of computer systems.

Further, the Firm represents clients in domestic and international transactions related to the development, licensing and transfer of patented and unpatented technology, as well as know-how and trade secret information.
