Awards & Recognition 

• Multicultural Law Magazine, the magazine for diversity in the legal profession, ranked Ruden McClosky 17th for Hispanic Americans and 38th in the top 50 law firms for diversity among associates.  The firm was ranked 74th out of 100 for the number of women attorneys and 75th out of the top 100 law firms for diversity overall. 
• According to The Diversity Score Card (a survey of the 250 largest firms as ranked by The National Law Journal), Ruden ranked 126th with 9.4% of its attorneys comprising minorities.
• Evett Simmons, Chief Diversity Officer, received the Gertrude E. Rush Award, one of the National Bar Association’s highest awards; the “Embracing Growth and Change Award as part of the PACE believing in girls Leadership Awards; the Soroptimist 2007 Women of Distinction Award; and the 2007 Legacy Builder Award by Black Esquire Magazine.
• Carl Schuster, Managing Partner, was appointed to the Florida Supreme Court Standing Committee on Diversity and Fairness in the Courts in 2005
